In May 2020, vivo launched the V19 and has now returned with another V-series smartphone the same year to fight the Covid-19 blues and earn money over the holiday season that has almost begun in India.
The Chinese origin company added the vivo V20 to its stable to further strengthen its position in the middle class. I feel like vivo is trying to replicate the success of its latest smartphone launched in the premium segment, the X50 series, mid-range V20.
I have this device in Midnight Jazz color with 8GB / 256GB configuration. My first impression of the vivo V20 is here:
Design
As I mentioned above, the vivo V20, is very similar to the X50 series smartphone which is its advantage. The color of the Midnight Jazz I found looks subtle and dignified. The color palette of the shade looks great when the light is off.
The rear camera module is almost identical to the X50 with a triangular setting, under which lies the light. The camera module jumps out of the body which is very common these days. The smartphone has the necessary features such as Type-C port and 3.5mm jack. The glass material makes it look stunning and gives a premium feel and finish, but it tends to snap fingers.
The capacity and power key lie on the phone while the SIM tray is on the right panel. The aluminum chassis frame on the sides makes it easy to hold. All in all, in vivo is focused on building the V20 to attract viewers in its first look.
DISPLAY
The Vivo offered a 6.44 inch AMOLED FHD + display on the V20. This is a sufficient size available in every product on the market today. Display supports HDR 10+ content. Light is well balanced in ambience. Sun or outdoor views are appropriate.
The dewdrop display makes a comeback on the V20 whether you like it or not, perhaps a punch hole rather than adding more beauty to the fence. The phone is ready for video and playback use. The colors are sharp and creamy.
Platform
Cameras
2)Wide Angle Mode
3)Macro Lens
The camera is a strong vivo in the past few years and the V-series has been well known for its excellent camera performance. The V20 is no different. The smartphone has a set-camera set-up in the back. The V20 has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP camera setback on the back. I clicked photos with the phone and it has details.
The mobile sector builds itself up to normal so everything follows. The Vivo V20 Games is a state-of-the-art imaging technology where we get wide lens, monochrome lens, macro and bokeh lens. Most users have never used all of these features yet, it's yours in the V20.
Color reproduction is good, the phone explains the colors well and does not cheat. The Vivo is known for its graphics software upgrades but is smaller than the V20. There are occasional sounds while using the rear camera.
vivo v20
Photo mode that you have takenVivo used a large 44MP selfie lens on the V20. It has many opportunities. With f / 2.0, the front lens does a good job.
The selfie lens comes with things like Super Night Selfie, Aura Screen Light, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Dual-View Video, etc. The smartphone captures the photos you take from time to time. It has face-to-face add-ons that can be useful for girls and generations of social media.
All in all, the vivo V20 comes from a strong competitor in the optical department.
Battery
The Vivo V20 gets its power from a 4,000mAh battery backed by a 33W charger. The battery is enough for a day for moderate use but, if you are a power user you need to connect it twice a day. The charging speed is good for a 33W charger
. It fills the tank in 50 minutes. The Vivo could have used a 5,000mAh battery on the V20 as the world has moved to mobile, online and e-learning thanks to the Covid-19 epidemic. Consumers prefer larger battery smartphones.
SPECIAL THINKS
The Vivo V20 invests in premium design, easy construction and display. The processor is trying and reliable but needs some time to expand and play alongside.
The camera moves the smartphone in the middle of the section easily with its wide range. The battery is adequate but not overpowering. The smartphone sells for Rs 24,990 8GB / 128GB and Rs 27,990 for 8GB / 256GB variant.
