The Redmi Note 10 series brings more improvements to the Redmi Note 9 and there is no doubt about it. So, I’m talking specifically about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 in India which is a non-5G version and comes with features full of stereo speakers, a fast charging battery, a Super AMOLED display, and more while doing some downsizing on other departments like NFC non-existent.

Design and build

Unlike last year’s Redmi Note 9, the Redmi Note 10 is much better in terms of design. IP53 certified and ready to withstand exposure to rain. Going forward, the Redmi Note 10 uses a polycarbonate frame with a rear panel with a matte finish on it. Now unlike other brands that produce budget phones with matte finish (which looks bad), Xiaomi does not. The Redmi Note 10 looks great as a premium even with the use of polycarbonate back panel cover which is very inclusive here. But it is the magnetism of the fingers depending on which color you choose.

The camera rig is similar to the one seen in the Mi 11 series with a two-step design that looks cool. It is well described and does not cover the whole area which is something I did not like its Redmi Note 9. Flip the phone and get a large display with compatible sides and high bezels, the chin stays the same even though it is large.

The Redmi Note 10 uses a high center punch-hole cut that is too small for this price range. Moving forward, the sides are curved which makes holding the phone much easier. The sides are pressed enough that Xiaomi needs to be scratched and expand the sides to fit the power button.

Below, you find a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a shooting speaker at the bottom. Plus, you get a second speaker and IR Blaster. There's a cum FPS power button, and a rocker rocker on the right, and finally, a SIM card tray on the left, and that's about it.

Display

Xiaomi has made significant improvements depending on the display even if the device has an aggressive price. The display is mounted on a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED panel with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and emits a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels.

I tested the display for a while because it is the only thing we are most in touch with. You would love to watch movies and videos on display with eye-catching colors, decent viewing angles, and don't forget, it's an OLED panel that can any day be a huge improvement over the LCD panel.

In terms of brightness, the display illuminates the whopping 682 nits (700 nits advertised) as the highest auto mode value while the hand mode rises to 475 nits. The display is likely to illuminate 1100 nits of hitting in some areas although the lack of HDR makes a big difference. It's not like the Redmi Note 10 doesn't have HDR since YouTube sees the display as another and distributes HDR content. On the contrary, both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video support SDR playback so you will have to wait until the first or last two decide either way.

you can see to buy Redmi Note 10. Also, there is a black mode that can be set on the board as well.

Performance

Speaking of specs only, the device is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 678 SoC made at an 11nm node with a maximum frequency of 2.2GHz. The graphics are handled via Adreno 612 SoC, the device has 4 / 6G
